Your car is sitting behind a gate on Riverside Drive and it will not start, and the nearest shop wants a tow truck to get past the guard house first. That is a $150 problem before anyone has even looked at the car. I am a mobile mechanic covering all of Parkland and I drive to your driveway with the tools and the parts already in the van. Dead battery in Heron Bay, brakes grinding on the way down University Drive, AC quitting on the school run to Pine Trails — I fix it where the car is parked. No tow, no drop-off, no rental. Covering Parkland 33067 and 33076.
I am the owner-operator of Zxotic Auto Mobile, a mobile mechanic service covering all of Broward County. Parkland is quiet, spread out and full of cars that do not get driven enough — which causes its own set of problems. No-start diagnostics, AC repair, brake work, battery replacement, alternator replacement, starter replacement and check engine light diagnosis all get done at your address. Cash and Zelle. Price quoted before I start.

Advanced Diagnostics for All Vehicles in Parkland
Parkland driveways hold a lot of European metal, but the diagnostic work is the same discipline on any badge: test the system, read the data, find the fault, then replace the part. I do that at the car instead of guessing from a code number.
The Parkland special. Load testing, charging output, parasitic draw hunting and module sleep problems on second cars and weekend vehicles that only move twice a month.
Battery registration, service resets, relearns and coding on BMW, Mercedes, Range Rover and Audi when the vehicle and the repair call for it.
Check-engine lights, rough running, overheating, cooling fans, Florida AC complaints and hybrid or EV thermal-management faults tested in your driveway.
What I Fix in Parkland
These are the calls that actually come in from Parkland, FL — all handled on-site:
- Car won't start — far and away the number one Parkland call, and usually a battery that died of sitting rather than of age. I test before I replace, because a new battery on a car with a parasitic draw just buys you three weeks.
- AC not blowing cold — Parkland is inland with no breeze and a lot of open driveway parking. Compressors, condensers and leaking seals diagnosed and repaired at the house.
- Brakes squealing or grinding — short trips to school and the Sawgrass on-ramp glaze pads and rust rotors. Pads and rotors done in your driveway in one to two hours.
- Starter replacement — one solid click and nothing else. I stock starters for most common makes and swap them on-site.
- Car overheating — thermostats, radiators, fans and hoses. Plastic cooling parts get brittle after four or five summers up here.
- Check engine light — a real answer at your address, not a code printout and a suggestion to bring it in for further diagnosis.
- Mobile oil change — full synthetic or conventional at your house. Nobody in Parkland should be sitting in a quick-lube lobby.
- Pre-purchase inspection — buying a used car for a new teen driver? $150 and I look at it before the money changes hands.
Most repairs $160–$850 depending on service. Upfront quote on-site before work begins.
Why Parkland Is Hard on Cars
Parkland does not beat cars up the way Fort Lauderdale traffic does. It wears them out a completely different way:
- Cars that barely get driven — three-car garages, a weekend car, a kid's car parked most of the semester. A battery that never gets a full charge cycle sulfates and dies, brake rotors surface-rust in the humidity, and tires flat-spot. Low mileage does not mean low wear down here.
- Short trips that never warm the car up — school run to Pine Trails, five minutes to Parkland Commons, back home. The engine never reaches full operating temperature long enough to burn off moisture, which is hard on oil and on exhaust components.
- Then a long hot run down the Sawgrass — the opposite extreme. A cooling system that has been babied for a month gets asked for everything at 70 mph in 95-degree heat, and that is exactly when a marginal thermostat or a soft hose lets go.
- Open driveway parking, all-day sun — no ocean breeze this far inland, and a lot of Parkland cars live outside a garage that is full of other things. Underhood temperatures on a parked car are what actually kill batteries and AC seals in Florida — heat, not cold.
- Gates between you and every shop — nothing wrong with your car, but everything wrong with the logistics. A tow out of a gated community is more expensive and slower than a tow off a public street, which is a big part of why people here call me instead.
How It Works
- Call or text (203) 549-7058 — tell me what the car is doing and where you are in Parkland.
- I drive to you — typically 45–90 minutes. Driveways, garages, gated communities, the club lot, wherever it sits. Give me the gate code when you call.
- On-site diagnosis and quote — I tell you what failed and what it costs before I touch anything.
- Repair done the same visit — most jobs finish in one trip. You watch the work, you approve the price, you drive.
I also cover nearby Coral Springs, Coconut Creek, Margate, Deerfield Beach, Boca Raton and the rest of Broward County. Heading north over the county line I also run West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Lake Worth and Jupiter in Palm Beach County.
SAME-DAY SERVICE IN PARKLAND — CALL NOWCommon Problems in Parkland FL
After enough calls up here the same short list keeps repeating, and it is a different list than the one I see in Fort Lauderdale or Hollywood.
The battery that died of boredom. This is the Parkland call. A car sits three weeks between drives, the modules never fully go to sleep, and the battery drains a little further each time. Then it will not crank on a Tuesday morning. People assume it is a bad battery and buy one — and half the time the battery was fine and something in the car was not letting it rest. I check the draw before I sell you a battery, because the second one dies just as fast if nobody looks.
Brakes that rusted instead of wearing out. Low-mileage cars in Florida humidity get surface rust on the rotors overnight, and if the car does not get driven hard enough to scrub it off, you end up with pitted rotors and glazed pads at 22,000 miles. You hear the squeal first, then a pulsing pedal. Fixing it at the squeal stage is a $200 job. Waiting is closer to $450.
AC that works in the driveway and quits at a light. If it blows cold at speed and warm when you stop, that is almost always airflow across the condenser — a failing cooling fan or a condenser packed with debris — not low refrigerant. A can from the parts store hides it for two weeks and then you are back where you started, with too much refrigerant in the system.
Cooling systems that let go on the Sawgrass. Plastic thermostat housings, radiator end tanks and expansion tanks get brittle after four or five Florida summers. They usually fail under load, which around here means the on-ramp at Coral Ridge or the run west toward the Turnpike. If the temperature needle climbs, shut it off and pull over — a thermostat is a few hundred dollars and a warped cylinder head is several thousand.
European cars with a warning light nobody wants to touch. A lot of Parkland driveways have a BMW or a Range Rover in them, and a lot of independent shops will not go near the electrical side. That is the work I actually like. Battery registration, module communication faults, air suspension diagnosis — done at the house.
Recognize any of that? Call or text 203-549-7058. I will tell you on the phone whether it is something that can wait a week or something you should stop driving today, and I will be straight with you either way.
European Cars in Parkland
Parkland has more BMWs, Range Rovers, Mercedes and Audis per driveway than almost anywhere else in north Broward, and the dealer wants the car for three days to look at a coolant leak. I do that work at your house — BMW mobile mechanic, Range Rover mobile mechanic, and European car repair across Broward County. Tell me the year, model and what it is doing and I will tell you what it usually is.
Looking for a Mechanic in Parkland? That's Me.
If you searched "mechanic Parkland FL" and landed here, you found the right one. I am not a shop with a waiting room and a service writer who calls you at 4pm with bad news. I am one guy with a fully stocked van who drives to wherever the car is sitting — your driveway in Heron Bay, the garage in Cypress Head, the lot at the country club, the school pickup line where it decided to quit.
Why Parkland people call a mobile mechanic instead of a shop: you skip the tow through the gate, you skip arranging a ride home, you skip losing a workday, and you skip the markup a shop puts on every part. You get one price for the job before I start. Diagnostics start at $80 and come off the repair. Cash or Zelle.
I work on everything that rolls through Parkland — Honda, Toyota, Chevy, Ford, Nissan, Kia, Jeep — and the heavier stuff too: BMW, Range Rover, Mercedes, Audi, Lexus, Tesla, Infiniti, Cadillac, Acura. Tell me the year, make and model when you call and I show up with the right parts the first time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you come inside gated communities in Parkland?
Every day. Heron Bay, Parkland Golf & Country Club, Cypress Head, Terramar, BankAtlantic — give me the gate code or call me in at the callbox and I drive right to your driveway. Most of my Parkland work happens in gated neighborhoods, so the guard house is not a problem.
How fast can a mobile mechanic get to Parkland FL?
Usually 45 to 90 minutes. Parkland sits at the top of Broward, so if I am already up near Coral Springs or Coconut Creek I can often be there sooner. Call and I will tell you honestly where I am and when I can be at your house.
My car sat in the garage for months and now it will not start. Can you fix that at the house?
Yes, and it is one of my most common Parkland calls. Second cars in this area sit for weeks at a time, and a battery that sits in Florida heat without a charge cycle goes flat and then goes bad. I test the battery, the charging system and the starter draw at your house before I sell you anything.
Do you work on BMW, Range Rover and Mercedes in Parkland?
Yes. Parkland has a lot of them and they are what I know best. Coding, battery registration, cooling system work and electrical diagnosis on European vehicles are done at your location. See my BMW and Range Rover pages.
What does a mobile mechanic cost in Parkland FL?
Diagnostics start at $80 and come off the repair if you go ahead with it. Brake jobs run $160–$480, batteries $180–$350, starters $250–$500. You get one number before I touch the car and that number is the number.
Yes — Zxotic Auto Mobile covers all of Parkland, 33067 and 33076. Same-day service, no tow needed. Call (203) 549-7058 and I come to your location.
Yes. I carry batteries for most makes, test the charging system before and after, and on European cars I register the new battery to the car so the charging strategy is correct. Done in your driveway in about half an hour.
